On your post on your blog... you don't just need Heffer's word for
it. Tanner is great on Wagner. Tanner's previous book Wagner has an
excellent chapter on the deluded readings of Wagner in circulatin
(Flamingo 199 something). Hilarius, biting. ('So that's what Tristan
is!')
